We are a full-service landscape design, installation, and maintenance company servicing areas in NYC, Brooklyn, Columbia County, and Greene County.
We use environmentally sound practices to build lasting relationships between our clients and their outdoor spaces. Our commitment to proper plant selection, the use of natural and non-toxic soil amendments, thoughtful irrigation, and lighting installations that help our spaces shine day or night is core to our work.

About
Owner and sole proprietor Angeles Mojica is certified as a Landscape Designer by The New York Botanical Garden, a Master Composter, a Trained Beekeeper, and a member of Metrohort and APLD.
She grew Dig It from a brownstone garden in Brooklyn over 8 years ago, into a full-service Design Install company with a commitment to beautiful eco-conscious environments.

We believe humans need connection to the outdoor world. We foster our clients' relationship to the spaces around them by crafting durable designs that call our clients outside. By creating thriving ecosystems that fill their spaces with pollinators and life, and using our expertise to educate and connect our clients to their new surroundings, we help them build an understanding and appreciation of the nature they live alongside.

Design
Each design is different. We don’t have a single template we use across each project. We sit with our clients to understand their needs, wants, likes, and lifestyle. Then we craft designs that are tailored to them, help elevate their environments, and solve the real-world problems they face.
Planting
Proper plant selection is at the heart of our work. We strike a balance between selecting plants that will thrive in your conditions and give you the aesthetics you love. Dig it only sources the best specimens from local nurseries for each project, with an eye towards sustainability and native species.
Craftsmanship
When you hire us, you hire a team dedicated to craft and execution. This starts with thoughtful designs, and the sourcing of high quality plant and building materials, and ends with careful, expert installs and on-going maintenance.
Ecosystems
Ecosystems matter to us. This is why we focus not only on how your garden will look the day after the install, but we think about how you will live with it, and how it will evolve in the years to come.
Everything is connected. This is why we only use the best environmental practices. On top of very careful plant selection, we are committed to the use of non-toxic natural soil amendments and fertilizers. And we don’t consider irrigation as a last step. We select plants that will thrive in your site’s conditions and consider irrigation plans and thoughtful water management every step of the way.
Teamwork
Dig It works with a curated team of specialists in each area of expertise to create our full-service projects. When you hire us, you also get access to our network of trusted contractors who specialize in irrigation and hardscaping, and whose work is integrated seamlessly into our projects. Though if you prefer, we can also partner with contractors you have lasting relationships with.
